Description: ICA Spanish School was established in 1976 and has grown significantly since then.  The programs that the school offers can be divided into three principal categories. 

Spanish studies are offered as one on one classes, five hours daily in the morning or afternoon.  Our teachers have graduated from or study in various departments of Quetzaltenango?s universities.  Many of our proffesors have been with the school for over a decade.

The second facet of study at ICA is the homestay.  Students live with a Spanish-speaking family and participate in events as if they were family members. The school organizes cultural and social activites for students daily. 

Students may also choose between volunteer work in five different social and environmental projects including reforestation, health, and education.  ICA is also connected to a network of organizations offering volunteer work in projects independent of the school.

Description: Academia Sevilla is one of the best schools in Antigua, located very near the Central Park of Antigua in a colonial-style building with a big garden. All classes are with 1 student and 1 instructor.

After class we have a lot of free and minimum-priced activities, a thing the school is famous for. You can dance salsa, climb an active volcano, get to know the local culture by visiting villages by bike or horseback, etc.

We offer our students free internet, free coffee, tea and purified water and free use of TV and VCR all day through.

Next to the classes, we have free social projects: most of our students volunteer their spare time and give service in the local orphanage, home for the aged, hospitals, teach English in schools or participate in other community projects.

For accommodation we offer a family stay with your own room, shared bathroom and 3 meals a day, except on Sunday. Next to the family, we have our exclusive Student Houses, there is no other school that offers this! You will live with 5 to 10 students, have your own room, shared or private bath and have the option of 3 meals a day, again except on Sunday.

We have a travel agency located in our school for the students who would like to travel during, or after their studies here.
